"Lost your way" was written a year ago following a breakdown of a close friendship. I was experiencing a mix of emotions at the time - anger, anguish and sadness to name a few. I'm really pleased with the instrumental accompaniment in this track; the use of tribal drums to convey the anger I was feeling and the wah-wah pedal to reflect the turmoil

"Lost your way" was written a year ago following a breakdown of a close friendship. I was experiencing a mix of emotions at the time - anger, anguish and sadness to name a few. I'm really pleased with the instrumental accompaniment in this track; the use of tribal drums to convey the anger I was feeling and the wah-wah pedal to reflect the turmoil i was in. Experimenting with my musical style and yet staying true to myself, my song has quite a retro feel but I've also added my signature vocal harmonies from bass through to alto and added a guitar riff, which you can find in all of my singles released so far.

The funky elements heard in the song were influenced by some of my favourite artists/bands - Stevie Wonder, The Doobie Brothers, Prince and Earth Wind and Fire.
